Visualization - Oct. 21,2013

I believe that visualization is very powerful. You have to actually "see" yourself being who you want to be. You have to "see" yourself reaching your goals. If you can't see it, it is impossible for you to believe it. On this day next month, I will be headed to Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I'm currently training to compete to earn my IFBB pro card. For most competitive NPC athletes, it is an ultimate and often far fetched goal. I had no idea just 2 years ago when I walked on stage that I would be competing on a national level. My goal at that time was just to be on stage. I had no clue that God would put the desire in my heart to keep moving forward. To keep setting higher goals in this sport and to continue moving forward to reach them. For anyone who has ever competed in this sport, you know that you have to first get the right mindset. It starts internally. Weeks before I "got serious" with my training and diet for nationals, I first focused on my external goal. I visualized myself earning my pro card. Once I saw it, I knew that I could do it. Once I knew that it was possible, I set my training in action... and here I am. I know that regardless of the outcome that I can do it. Anything is possible. When I walk on that stage a month from now, I'll know that I did my best. That in itself is rewarding. We all have different goals in life. I want you to know that no matter how big or small your goal is that YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT. Believe that you can, see yourself where you want to be and you're half way there. Xo
